If i'm not wrong both are roughly the same specs but Acer is cheaper.

Asus more reliable in terms of branding.

Can also consider Alienware AW3418DW, currently using it and loving it :D

I believe all these 3 monitors are using the same panels ehh... so ultimately just choose which design you like :s8:

Bro, which NB series are you using? So far i went through F80-F150. Non actually support ultrawide...
when you mention not able to support ultrawide, you are referring to the rotation of the screen to portrait mode? if that's the case, it's true that not all of them do. best bet will be to wall mount the arm high enough so that the height of your monitor is supported.

if you are referring to the weight, then are a couple of adjustments you can do to the hydraulic arms. you can adjust both tensions to better support the required weight, in terms of the height and tilt of the monitor.

Dear Folks,

Looking to replace my stock Acer X34 stand with a monitor arm. Any good recommendation and where to get them? I believe X34 is 10kg/22Ibs, VESA mount 100mm x 100mm.

Cheers.

i have a x34p and im using the NB F200. So far so good!

bear in mind the weight of 10kg is with the stand, without it will be around 7kg.

Hi, i am planning to buy the Alienware AW3418DW, however the stand is too big for my table, providing i need to put a keyboard and a wacom tablet.

Hence i was wondering if anyone here have a good idea of which reliable desk stand i could get in order to replace the alienware stand?

Or can i get the Dell 34inch monitor stand and install to the alienware monitor, does it fit?

Cheers~

Any option to be clamp onto the table?

Big monitor (>27") better drill onto concrete wall, more secure....(also check the hydraulic pump max weight)
Clamp 2x27" 4k monitor w Locktek twin arm, onto Ikea 2m white table top, the table warp or deform after a few months.

Nowsaday the ikea quality really bad, or too heavy... Could be both, so don't make the same mistake as me....
