The monitor arm is Type A Monitor Arm.

In addition, there's anyone use the VIVO Single Monitor Desk Mount?

No difference as the dual monitor arm will be rated for heavier loads. It makes a difference if you're mounting monitors that are outside the specifications then you might want to consider two monitor arms instead.


That said, aesthetically a dual monitor arm looks better.

Quality probably the same. I've been using a northbayou and it works perfectly fine.

I am using the takeaseat one to mount my monitor, 23 inch monitor only though. It serves its purpose and I bought it for less than $50 during a sale. Comes with 2 USB 3.0 ports as well.

I'm using VIVO stand V002K, quite good for its price, quite sturdy and easy to use also. Doesn't sag

The middle one very different as that's a stand not a clamp type. Choosing between a stand and a clamp really depends on your table (material and thickness). Clamp takes up much less space.

Between two single vs 1 dual, it's really up to you.

I'm using the same exact arm for my LG 29UM69G monitor. No issue with it. Able to tilt, swivel and height adjustment.

Ergotron so far I considered the best one . I wasted $100-200 on those useless one end up bought a LX can last for lifetime

I use both. The North bayou to put a laptop and the takeaseat one to mount a 34 inch xiaomi monitor (which is within load limit). I find the takeaseat one quite difficult to adjust the tilt because it uses a nut which u need to loosen or tighten. Whereas the North bayou one, u can use an allen key to adjust the torque of the tilt mechanism. I think can get the North bayou one from tabao cheaper than the takeaseat in sg when there is a sale

I agree that ergotron is the best so far (excluding price) and lx or mxv should be sufficient. hx is a beast that can support odyssey g9 lol

If you are going LX, can just get the amazon basic one which is exactly the same at half the price(black only). I recently helped my wife and myself install monitor arms to free up space on the table. I didn't do too much research and only decided to change it when I was window shopping in Courts.

Courts was carrying the North Bayou brand and while it doesn't look very sleek, it was quite cheap. But I went home and searched on Taobao I realised it was even cheaper (even after shipping). Paid about 60% of what Courts was charging to buy a dual monitor arm.

You have to check the maximum weight each arm can support. Most brands and the higher spec arms can support 32" monitor per arm.



My wife was earlier using 2 x 24" screens, I got the standard 2 monitor arm version and added 2 bracket (cos wife's screens cheap Dell ones without Vesa mounts). The picture above was when it was first installed and she was still using the 24". I upgraded them to 2 x 27" and so far it's been good. I also had to get another laptop arm to free more space on her desk.

I really love this design, very sleek and has 2 segments so you can swing it out to make it closer to the edge of the desk where you are seated. It's more pricey but the mechanics are very good, very sturdy and well-constructed. You can also find some carousell listings selling for about 10-30% on top of the Taobao + shipping cost. If you don't want to wait, can consider getting on Carousell.

In the end I also got a monitor + laptop arm combo for myself. This version is able to support my 32" monitor.
