Hi Zacky! Thank you for sharing your comment here!

I not sure whether my computer keeps switching between the digital and HDMI mode, but I experienced this while I was playing NBA 2K15. There are also times when I'm not running any games but surfing net, the issue surfaces. Nevertheless, I will heed your advise and try to see if it works.

Thanks once more!

do check if you had power savings on, for eg, like turning off monitor after 20 mins. thats the default settings if you did not modify the settings.

try another cable if you have spare. also update your graphic card temps here.

On a side note, I am thinking if I should get a new graphics card. The current one I have is AMD Radeon HD 5800 Series. The type of games I usually play are FIFA and NBA2K. If yes, is there any recommendation you guys can offer? Thanks!

If all your settings are correct eg.power saving is off and GPU temps are normal, try oopening your casing and check that the psu power connectors to your GPU are plugged in properly/fully. Happened to me once and I just replugged the connectors to fix it.

that have to depend on your current system config. if you get a new one and your system is old, there will be bottleneck, and you won enjoy the full potential of the new graphic card.

that aside, im on the red side, *hint*, AMD. I would recommend Sapphire R9 280X. thats a pretty decent card. i have used for all my friends' new PC. and they are lovin' it!

Hey guys, thank you so much for your input!

I think it is time to upgrade my graphics card. Aside from Shiroyuki03's suggestion for Sapphire R9 280X, is there any recommendation you all have for me? The type of games I usually play are Fifa and NBA 2K. These games usually don't require very high end graphics card right (as I was told). Ideally, my budget will be around $200. Is it too little? I can pay more if you guys think I should go for a better graphics card that might cost a little more.

I appreciate your comments! Thanks!
