Monitor Displaying Purple Tint

Hi guys, my display have this purple tint suddenly. sometimes it will be back to normal but now seems the purple tint is permanent. what could be the cause and anyway to fix it w/o replacing anything first? i changed the cables and it lowered the resolution and the purple tint is still there.

i'm guessing my gpu is toasted. if yes, what is the upgrade from my current spec? not looking to break the bank.

Have u tried the monitor with other PC change other display port? If it still there with another PC means monitor. If u switching to another PC monitor dun have means your GPU.

I have a few of Dell monitors at workplace having purple tint. Troubleshoot cable/workstation only to find problem is with Dell monitors.

I dont have spare monitor to test.

Connect via HDMI to your TV and check. Although I believe its a monitor issue too.

It happened to my last laptop but more like a yellow line. Service center said it happens when it’s being used a lot. But siao, that’s why you got laptop right. I tried to fix it myself and YouTube offers a tutorial.
