NEW SAMSUNG CF390 27" not working with CSGO

NEW PROBLEM;

i ended up getting the 27" Samsung CF390 curved at sitex today.

everything working fine, but when i play CSGO, after i exit, it goes to black screen, cannot do anything except reset.

i searched online everyone had problems getting "into" CSGO, not getting out.

gfx sapphire r9 390
Samsung cf390

I've already tried installing and reinstalling all drivers (monitor and gfx), game.

nothing seems to work so far.

anyone got any idea what's going on?

Hi all,

need some help, monitor is flickering, tried to change a HDMI cable, but not helping. no distortion, just flicker. everything else is normal.

flickers for half a sec and comes back, comes and goes.

gfx - r9 390 sapphire, just bought 4 mths back.
monitor - samsung S24D300 bought bout 6 mths ago.

any suggestions or help?

thank you!

Do u have other ports to test or other monitor and GPU to test it?

Could be possible port failure.

thanks Koenig;

so likely is monitor problem?

also another weird problem arise;

i tried to play CS, and it worked fine for awhile, then there was an auto update from STEAM, then after it became very laggy, not ping, but like i move my mouse it took .5 to 1 sec later then it will move on screen. i don't know if it's the update but i tried searching online but no one seems to be having problems with the update.

Since only bought 6mths ago, just claim warranty lah.

Anyway, if it continues to get worst and become like this video :

It means power supply is gone-ing soon.

If the power button stay on, then take a torchlight and shine at the bottom left and see whether can you see the "Start" button. If can see, means LED backlight driver got problem.

Anyway, got warranty right?

Bro, sounds very much like the recent updated UVD driver bug released in conjunction with the open sourcing of AMD's AMF SDK.

Try if 16.7.2 WHQL helps?

TS, I don't have the monitor problem like yours. But I have the same cs:go problem. Everytime I launch cs:go I have to toggle some video settings before the game is smooth. Otherwise there is some lag. I tried launching other games and I don't get this problem. I'm using r9 280, on latest 16.10 drivers.

How you resolve your CSGO problem?

I also have that problem!!! I'm using the r9 390, I haven't actually resolved the problem, but I think someone recommended that you try to update to latest drivers.

I didn't even turn on my comp the last whole week, go home, shower sleep. :s11::s11::s11::s11:

I recommend trying a rollback to 16.7.2 WHQL. Older drivers, not newer. Current 16.30-16.40 branch drivers up to 16.10.1 have a midas touch with system stability when it comes to running h264 content... There are people on the polaris thread mentioning this workaround works.
