monitor for pubg?

Looking for recommendation for a new monitor mainly to play pubg, csgo, and other fps games in future. currently using a 19' 60hz HP monitor, running on gtx1060 6gb, in desperate need of an upgrade. Would like to keep budget below $200. pls advise on where to purchase from (lazada, sls etc.)

will there be a huge difference between 60hz and 144hz? i am told this is particularly significant especially for fps games. if so then i am willing to spend slighly more

Pubg no need 144hz la, super slow game...see who got patience to camp only right? But yes, it needs a larger screen for you to see other players.

Im looking at Acer KG271A. 27" 144hz. Its $3XX though. Maybe u can look at the 24" model.

how high does the fps ingame need to be to utilise the 144hz? im currently running at 150fps in lobby and 60-100fps in game

How about the Prism+? 144hz, 31 inches though so it will be massive for a PC setup. If you have the space for it.

If play other fps games then worth getting, I got a Korean 144hz monitor for 250 on qoo10. Not the best but is close to your budget.

i think there's a misconception that the game is mostly camping. being able to spot enemies easier at far distances is a huge advantage in the game which is why im looking for an upgrade

Search Viewsync on Qoo10 or the Acer GN246HL on Prime Now which comes with local warranty. Those are the only budget 144hz monitors I'm aware of.

The point about spotting enemies, not sure if getting 144 fps is even possible or worth, since to even get close to it with your GPU, you will need to play on low settings which might affect spotting of enemies from far distance. Its still a worthy upgrade but I'd say you will notice it more with other games like Overwatch, CS.

No it doesn't, whether u can spot movement from far distances depends on how aware you are.

I play PUBG way earlier than the rest, although it's better now, but still not optimized. Your fps would shoot up to 115+ and dip to around 50+ through out your game, and having a 144hz monitor create so much screen tearing that I got headache after playing a few rounds.

Im using GTX 1060 6GB and BENQ's 144Hz monitor, everytime before game, I switch it to 60Hz and vsync it.

I got my BENQ for BF4 and CSGO, where it can sustain 120+ or more FPS the whole game.

I got no screen tearing on my 144hzmonitor when my fps drops to below 60 when im in ***** pochinki or military or yasnaya.

144hz is more smooth but like i said, pubg unable to get constant fps above 144 cos the game is not optimised. Everyone know about this issue.

But if u play alot of fps game then I highly recommend to get one. If you got the money of cos.

G-sync or Freesync is almost mandatory for a game like PUBG with fluctuation FPS. 144hz + G-sync is enough, don't need to go higher.
