monitor & gpu

hey guys. my old gpu has just died and i am looking at changing to a r9280x since its the most bang for the buck gpu atm. however my concern that my monitor is not good enough for such a powerful gpu.

my monitor only has dvi and d-sub ports, max resolution of 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz. can the pros here advice on whether its worth getting the r9 280x considering the specs of my monitor. thanks a lot!

This monitor is good enough. Standard full hd resolution. 280x is just nice for bf4

just go for it. 1080p is mainstream and some highend games still cant run at 1080p smoothly.

If your rig alrdy have 4Gb ram, and you getting another 4Gb ram, then it is a gd deal..
