Hi guys,

My friend has a GPU: Powercolor R9 270, and a samsung 24" monitor. His screen resolution are at max already but it is not taking up the full 24" space.

Any idea why and how to resolve it ?

Sometimes if the GPU keeps detecting it as a HDTV instead of a Computer Monitor, you can auto adjust or reset until button break there will still be underscan.

Fixing it with Catalyst is a more reliable way.

Go to your graphic card control panel (AMD) and go to VGA settings, there is an adjustment for you to set display at 100% full screen. Problem solve. I had this too when I first installed my card/driver and set my resolution to the recommended level.
