Monitor no signal input?

Please help

I have a monitor chimei cmv 228D that works fine when connected to on board graphic via dvi.

Then I install a r9 270 and connects it with the monitor via dvi as well. It works for a while then screen blackout and "no input signal" message pops out.

I tried using other connection like displayport with a convertor also same, works for awhile before it went no signal again.

Gpu doesnt seem faulty, my fren use no problem. Monitor also works fine when connected to onboard.

Like this how ah?

I think it's about 10 years old.

Time to change. Might still be good enough for onboard gpu but may be too old to supply enough power for ur r9 270.

Get a decent 400-500w psu will do.

not sure works for a while is bootup till where...

maybe it goes back to onboard video again, so your R9 270 no signal... did you configure your bios properly??
