Monitor no signal

Hi All,

My monitor suddenly no signal, but the PC is working perfectly.

After goggle for a while, i tried to take out CMOS battery and the monitor is working now.

Do i need to change CMOS battery to a new one?
How did it affect my monitor?

Just assemble around 1.5 yrs ago.

May i know what setting in bios is mess up?
I am using Asrock H97 performance.

Should i reset back to default factory ?

if it that old, batt shouldn't run out of power though.
well this im not sure could be some else that changes it

nah once u pull the batt and put it back, it will become default factory.

try to monitor this situations for another few days and see.

Suspect motherboard leakage, causing CMOS battery to drain fast when main power is off. This happened to my friend rig with Asus motherboard, only 6 months and battery need replacement. Subsequently, last only 1-2 months before being flat again.
