Monitor or Graphics Card problem?

Hey guys this happened to my computer recently. Can't figure out what the problem is. I do not have a spare monitor or GPU to try and troubleshoot. Any other ways to check? My monitor is a Dell ST2320L and my GPU is a HD5850 1gb.

This is what happened after about 5 minutes of usage:

If you have a laptop, test the monitor with the laptop to see if problem still persist. If yes, should be monitor.

Ok, monitor problem. If I bought the monitor from SLS, still under Dell's 3 year warranty right?
