Monitor or TV for PS4?

Hello. I'm having a dilemma whether I should get a TV or monitor for my PS4 as the previous TV died recently. I understand that there is a considerable display lag for TVs as compared to monitor.

I'm sitting between 1.5-2m away from the display. Hence, I'm considering either a 27" or 32" display, something big enough for group gaming at "close range". I have a budget of $400.

Can you guys give me some recommendation for this?

If you are connected to an external audio equipment, can use monitor for PS4.

If you are connected to an external audio equipment, can use monitor for PS4.

Or get a Monitor that comes with build in speakers + HDMI.
