This monitor matt version now going for $300 on qoo10 now.
Is it safe to buy from there? ppl say the price is too low liao seems shady.
Any user that purchase it recently can check if theres PWM flickering?
Many users on OCN report that the newer qnix monitors using a lousier panel that has PWM.

$300 is like around 220usd only which is very very cheap compared to ebay sales.
moreover accessorieswhole price on ebay for the exact same panel is like more than 300usd thats why the price on qoo10 seems so shady

i've been itching for 120/144hz gaming monitor as well.. this one is too cheap to be true so i will set my expectation correctly if i get them

If you want the better panel, it would be the Matte NON-SE version. It is slightly more expensive.

I see, that sounds reasonable to me.

Anyone that has experience with these monitors care to share some tips?
I read that the newer panels are lousier with PWM, can anyone with the matt version confirm it?

I am also planning to get the QNIX 2410 from Qoo10. But I'm also waiting for the IT Show to check & compare prices of other monitors & free gifts. Cause bro royfrosty here has stated the cons of this Korean monitor. And if I'm not wrong. The 2710 that you're quoting is not 144Hz right?

yea it isnt. but i feel its about time for me to abandon the TN panel and try out something good. Although the qnix cant run 144hz but if its able to overclock to 120hz it shouldnt be that far inferior to the 144hz.

It's able, but not confirm. It's a not 100% will get 120hz.

It's up to RNG. I had one that could OC to 120hz without a hitch, but returned it due to manufacturing defects/sent me a glossy instead of matte. My current can OC up to 96hz before having too many artifacts making it unusable. It's a risk to take, but for 250-300 bucks, compared to monitors more than twice its price, I don't see why not.

Still using a TN panel? Just switch. It will be one of the best investments you have ever made.

There isn't anywhere in the world you can get a 1440p monitor at such a price brand new.

Eh.. i seriously doubt IT show will have good deals..at most throw you 1 HDMI cable or display port...

yea i know about the RNG nature of the monitor. 96hz i guess if im stuck with that i guess i will suck it up if that happens after all it will still be better than my normal 75hz TN.
now im just wondering if i should get the qnix from qoo10 or pay more and get the crossover 2795qhd.

(Kraken iirc) But since it's just next month, I dont mind waiting. Cause now the QNIX is on a Groupbuy sale. Which means I cannot use any of the coupons that are given out today (Qoo10 GSS) So I dont mind seeing how the wind blows..

Besides, the 2710 that TS has quoted is a Samsung PLS panel right? I just worried got dead pixels.

For home use glossy. Watch movies shiok. Its not like your light source is behind u.

Ts even if cheap spend more money to get HDMI version so u can connect more stuff

Guys before you all consider to buy the monitor. There are things to take note.

1. ONLY the single DVI model can do an oc up to 120hz. Multi port connections wont allow to do that.

2. Do not buy this IF you have OCD issues. Like a dead pixel appears. Do note that you cant ship back the monitor not unless it has 5 or more dead/stuck pixels.

3. Do not buy this if you are looking for a stronger stand. Cause this will cause the monitor to shake with the lightest bump.

4. Dont expect it to oc till 120hz. Even if you managed to get 120hz with no jittery lines across the screen, it is not good for long usage. Many have faced pcb burnt.

5. It does not have build in scaler. And most of the time it needs a gpu to run it. You cant connect to a Playstation or any other devices to it. You cant use a dvi to hdmi converter either. It wont display anything.

6. If the monitor is defective. You will need to ship back the monitor, and it will cost you a good $90 or more.

7. Pixel perfect does not mean its Perfect. Dont go around just pay additional money for pixel perfect model. It can come to you perfect. But since it went through a few hours of toture test, the chances of it having a dead pixel is still very high.

Some suggestions for TS or any potential buyers of the qnix monitor.

The stand that comes with the qnix sucks. That said, you can always buy a better one for <$50 SGD. The qnix supports vesa mount.

DOA will be handled by the seller FOC (shipping to and back). It is still a great hassle though but the chances of DOA is very very low. I have purchased 5 korean monitors in total and none of them have any problem.
