Hi.
I'm currently running a super old Dell 2048 WFP on a possibly dead rig.
Thinking of upgrading the 10 year old monitor to something new.
I intend to get a decent rig and I'm wondering whether I should go 1440p or 4K.
The flagship 1440p XB271HU and PG279Q monitors do not come with HDR but cost around $1000 while the new 4K X27 and PG27UQ have HDR but are running on pretty new tech.
Any suggestions on what I should do?
Worth buying a 1440p monitor now then upgrade to 4K when the panel tech matures? Or just stick with my 2048WFP until 4K OLED panels are available.
Thoughts?
