no budget, it just seems that i cannot find those in the market.

Using xb271hu now, am thinking if can get a cheaper 1440p ips gsync without the 144hz.

Then it is a sidegrade if not downgrade. Besides, whats the point of Gsync when monitor is capped at 60Hz? Dun make sense though.

If u dun mind UW, Z35P should be cheaper than Xb271HU with gsync, but it is a 144hz panel. In fact, all gsync panels will be at least 120hz.

Yes, it is a downgrade...to save abit of money haha...

freesync has 1080p monitors without high refresh rate but i cannot find any freesync @1440p without 144hz.

Make sense to me because i won't need gsync if playing shooter games that can gives me 100+ fps. And for other games like gta v, witcher 3...i do not mind playing at a lower 50+ fps with gsync activated.

U dun save $$$ coz when u sell your XB271HU, it will be at a loss due to USED set with xx warranty left. Unless your Z35P purchase is such that your buying price is RRP minus loss that you taken when selling.

Since u alrdy got it, i suggest to just keep it as it is. Till 1-2 yrs later when new gen is out then buy something worthy at that time.

Besides, freesync works similarly as Gsync so it also kinda make sense to have 120/144hz panels at least. Perhaps you can look at BenQ? I know they do have 1080p/1440p 144hz monitors w/o gsync but its TN or VA at best.

always buy a better one

if not just stay.

if need money, go make one.

wow, so people here so high ses huh? cannot choose to downgrade? funny replies here.

Cannot keep to the topic whether if you guys know if there is any monitor which is 1440p ips gsync/freesync without 144hz in the market or not instead of judging? I can see the differences in ips vs tn or va, i can see the difference in gsync vs non gsync but i do not see the impact of 144hz that well, ok maybe i get a few more kills here and there in fast fps games but that's it. That is why i am looking for one Without 144hz (a white elephant feature AT LEAST to me) to see if can get it cheaper.

I won't be making a hugh loss (maybe lose $50 i supposed) because i bought my xb271hu brand new quite cheap. there is 4k ips gysnc (60hz) xb321hk which i owned before, there is 1080p ips freesync (60hz/75hz) in the market. So i am checking if there is any 1440p ips gync/freesync (60hz or 75hz) in the market with a cheaper price tag, can?

And with this 'downgrade' of monitor, i can also downgrade my gpu to 1070ti or even 1070. I won't be making losses with my 1080ti too because i bought it super cheap after a few rounds of upgrade.

So... sorry, downgrade is a big no no in this forum? An action that is much deplorable?

Simple question just needs simple answer.

First time people say i high ses
:s34:

I have no idea why you want to trade your 1440p 144hz ips for a 1440p 60hz ips. you are paying for a downgrade.. which totally doesn't make sense.

If wan downgrade straight go 1080p.. that one at least you got some cash to put back in your pocket..

how am i paying for a downgrade? If there is a 1440p 60hz gync ips, i hope/expect it to be around $500+. I bought my xb271hu at only $830 brand new 3 weeks ago, how much of a loss do you think i will incur?

Of course if that monitor cost $700+ then I would not consider it since I may only sell my xb271hu at that similar price point too. Please rest assured that I do know my math.

I will consider and compare a 1080p monitor too provided it is 27'' ips gsync, i do know there are 24'' & 27" 1080p ips freesync monitor. Will be thankful if you can point me to the right direction.

Your tone sounds like u demand an answer and not asking for help? Nobody knows your reason for downgrade (look at post #1 and #3).

So ppl starts to share their opinion with you not to downgrade. Then you start to say people are high ses ppl when u urself owns a xb271hu?

Ya, Life is hard for u when u can afford xb271hu...

Edit: btw you sounds like u want us to spoonfeed u. Did u do some homework to find other alternative models to ur current "xb271hu"? Then maybe we can advice u the pros and cons?

U want the cheapest way to get what you want? Right click on desktop, select display properties or nvidia properties, set refresh rate to 60hz. There you go, 1440p, gsync, 60hz, ips panel liao. No need waste time spend $$$ buy new and sell old.

I doubt any brand will cater to this as it will not be worth the price point. Gsync but capped at 60hz.

You read up the posts first before u comment? How would you react about produde reply?

No money go earn it?

I sound like I demand, I sound like I want spoon-feed so can I also say you sound like white knight wannabe? I have checked, I cannot find (read 3rd post)...that is why I am asking. Dun assume. And really? You trolling with my login id? Lmao...speaks alot.

And really I am not asking if I should downgrade or not so there is no need for others to know why I wanna downgrade or the pros and cons of downgrade in the first place. 6th post did indicate why I wanna downgrade but still it is not impt.

So next time when you wanna downgrade I tell u what for downgrade? No money go earn la, you fine with it? Good for you but I'm not.

This method does not put money in my pocket. Ok, there is no 1440p IPS gync without 144hz in the market, let's just leave it as that.

The closest you can get is 3440x1440 120hz IPS which is the Dell AW3418DW. It is expensive as hell but I can tell you, the monitor is by far the greatest and biggest investment ever made. Brilliant monitor.

Look at your tone, how do u expect ppl to talk nicely to u? And u urself say no budget on post #3. So what is the reason for downgrading?

I did read through the thread and u didn't mention the reason for downgrading until the last few posts? And u didn't list any options in your post about alternate models until the last few posts as well. So all i can do is assume isn't it?

I agree some ppl say something nasty but ur first 2 posts sounds abit arrogant?? Thats why ppl find u haolian??

Anyway, the way u communicate tells alot abt your personality and if life is hard for everyone, then we should think twice about buying expansive things in the first place.

Anyway, i apologise if i poke fun at your nick and being straight in what i say but, don't expect kindness if you don't show kindness in the first place, with the way you communicate. Peace out!

No budget here means no budget constraint, just point me the direction if there is any such makes.

You read? So you were saying my tone was the reason for produde's reply? Then read again! I started to pissed off only after his post.

And thank you for your financial advice, I do think twice about every purchase...I am asking if those specs exists, if yes I might sell existing monitor and buy those. Not urgently needs money to tide over something so do not worry for me.

When you wanna apologize you dun add a BUT..even though your same apology post still trolls. Dun apologize if you dun mean it.

Okies, i apologies with a full stop this time with no buts :)

I taking photos with mr Dark knight and not white knight :)

We good?

Edit: oh, i'm talking to myself. The previous post was deleted???
