Monitor recommendations

Hi everyone,

I am looking to get another monitor so that I can have a dual display on my pc. My graphics card is the GeForce GTX 750 Ti and I have already used up one port

Would like to get your advice on some matters:

1) Could you guys recommend me a monitor that can fit into my graphics card? My budget is about 150 to 200 and it would be for work purposes.
2) Also, when a brochure online tells me the input port is "DP, HDMI, D-Sub, DVI", how would I know what cable they would be providing to allow me to stick the other end into my graphics card? An example would be as follows (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17604288/27QWDP_7.jpg). Or would I need to purchase it separately?

anyway just a info for u your gpu can only support One Dual Link DVI-I, One Dual Link DVI-D, One HDMI. means u can get monitor with either 1 of the ports.

1.) can consider dell s2316h
2.) that really depends, as most of them will provide at least 1 or 2 cables (mainly dvi/d-subs) other cables have to purchase separately.

well this model is a slightly over but u will need to find a $1 filler to get it cheap.

Thanks for that. The specifications say they would provide a HDMI cable but they didn't specify what kind of HDMI, think the only way to find out is by asking the seller.

If it happens to be the standard HDMI cable, would I need to buy an adaptor to connect to my graphics card? I believe mine is a mini HDMI? This could probably serve as the filler.

your HDMI port should be normal size HDMI. Mini-HDMI looks similar in size to the micro-usb port you use to charge your phones.

free cables or not will be indicated on the sales fact sheet of the product, or you can always check with the seller. Not all products come with free HDMI cable, however i purchased by Samsung F350 27" and it did come with a free HDMI cable (i checked beforehand).

mini hdmi is bigger than micro hdmi.... micro hdmi looks smiliar in size to micro usb port...

Hi there, I believe mine is original as when I bought it from Sim Lim, I got the box. Not sure what is AIB.

His one is confirm mini HDMI. Standard HDMI is much bigger.

I had that in my ex-Palit GTX 750 StormX.

TS if you are keen i can sell you my mHDMI to HDMI adapter..
