Is a 27 inch FHD IPS 165hz monitor good enough for average usage?

Seems like for 27 inch, it is better to go for WQHD instead? But is it really that much of a difference?
If yr into esports, AI say

Professional esports players overwhelmingly use 24- to 25-inch monitors. This size perfectly aligns with the human eye's natural field of view.

Dual 27" Acer monitors bought during pandemic. Reimbursed from my company. Both monitors are still doing fine and good enough when I WFH. 😌

32in FTW! But not the ultrawide which is really stupid and unuseable other than for movies

Good enough. Mine was 23.8 and it already serves its purpose

Screen size ( for both monitor and TV) depends on your seating arrangement, how far you are from the screen. ideally you should be able to view the whole screen without too much eye and/or head movement to avoid strain to your neck and eyes.

As for resolution, depends on what you normally use it for. If you play games but GPU not strong enough, you end up having to downscale or lower image quality settings, end up WTFBBQHD also look like FHD or worse.
