Hi so I bought a used pc recently, everything is ok except monitor will sometimes show no signal on start up. I tried all hdmi port including gpu one but it doesnt solve the issue. I notice the issue happens mostly in the morning when i wake up to turn on the pc.
When i come home in the evening after work and turn it on, it has no issue. Monitor is fairly new, i used it for my laptop previously before i got the pc.
So how i got it to work was just rebooting/turn on and off the pc a few times, sometimes it takes more tries, sometimes lesser. I shut down pc properly before i go to bed, monitor and pc plug switches not turned off, morning wake up just press the power on button.

These are the specs, hope any experienced bro can give some advice

intel i7 - 12700KF 12th Gen 2.7Ghz
asus prime z690-p wifi ddr4
corsair vengeance lpx 2x16gb
samsung 980 1tb nvme

what is onboard or discrete gpu? integrated and dedicated? if so is dedicated 3070
Ok... According to NVIDIA, it doesn't affect 3000 series. So, issue is not related.

Try your monitor on a different computer to verify if is faulty. If not the monitor then it's the gpu. You can test gpu with a hd tv using different video port. Reply your finding here.
