For gaming.

Currently using GTX770 and PnP monitor, would like to upgrade to GTX970 soon.

Have set my eyes on BENQ Xl2430T... is it worth?

In order to get the full advantage of 144hz,you need to be driving 144 fps. That is hard for a single gpu unless u use low to med settings which also defeats tje purpose of spending so much on a 144hz monitor.

U2414H is good enough, imo. Unless you really want 144fps@144hz.

this discussion says gtx 970 can run 1080p at 144hz?

2715 60hz leh. And 1440p.

Anw GTAV no need to go 144hz, 60hz is good enough. At 144hz, you are sacrificing a lot of color (mostly TN Panels) for refresh rate.
