monitor very blur

I have just changed a new gfx card recently and I can't find the disk for my LG W1952TQ monitor driver. I know its already a discontinued model.

Even though I've set the refresh rate to 75hz, the screen is still blurry and its kinda obvious.

I already downloaded the drivers from the internet from LG W1952TQ-PF Support: Find Manuals & Warranty Info | LG USA and manually choose my drivers by selecting have disk and pointing to the extracted path.


All long it has no isses until last week when I was having problems with my gfx card, I went to uninstall my monitor driver. Now after getting a new gfx and installing the drivers for my monitor, it is still very blur.

In the first place, can that monitor be OC to 75hz? I think you put too much stress on the mobo of the monitor le.

Try using another monitor/tv. if it is not blur, it means u broke your LG monitor le.

Set the monitor to 60Hz.

All along ive been setting to 75hz..now suddenly I can only select 60hz.


Just realised when I connect via normal vga connection, my monitor screen will be blank with this message 'analog power saving mode'.

I need to insert my vga cable into this thing (http://img8.uploadhouse.com/fileuploads/18948/1894836814a0af0b2703ff5f4ded4ee29a65d41f.jpg and connect to another port behind my desktop before my monitor can display anything and it can only display 60hz . This model can support up to 75hz and in the past I've no problems selecting 75hz.

I'm thinking maybe the new gfx has limitations?

Do you guys feel that the image of your monitor is blur when u set it to 60hz? Just realised mine is a dvi-a connector..maybe I should get a dvi-d connector instead?

List out what connection your monitor and gpu have, and take note of the dual link DVI cables.

New gpu do not have limitations la.... Your monitor so old liao, doubt it can tahan 75hz for long. I believe you burnt ur monitor mobo liao. Likely that it cant run 75 Hz all the time, and you forced it.

Try using another 60hz monitor or tv and see if the blur is still there.

TS, if you have a laptop, connect it to the monitor and see if still blurry?

1 st thing to check isit the graphic card problem , next remove card and plug into onboard graphic . If still same then ur monitor is screw

ya somehow I also feel that the monitor is screwed..now sometimes also no image come out again.

cause my laptop also 60hz refresh rate but the images are much clearer. Somemore I just changed a new gfx ytd cause also spoilt, so I dont think its the gfx card.

Check your cable for bent pin. Try another cable too.
