Monitor vs tv for ps4?

Looking to get a 23-24 inch display for my new ps4. Which would be a better choice?

I connect my xbox one, ps4 and pc to one monitor

Pc and ps4 plugged to hdmi switch. That switch plugged to hdmi 1 monitor input.

Xbox one plugged to hdmi 2 monitor input.
