Monitor with speaker

Is it worth getting a monitor with speaker or just buy and monitor and a separate speaker?

that depends on how good you want/need your audio to be and whether you have extra cash for a set of good external speakers. most monitor speakers aren't really that good but if you don't mind then you can save money on speakers.
