I remember many many years ago going to their kitchen/outlet above Chinatown market to buy (pipping hot from the oven). Are they still there? Or I got the shop wrong? I know there is also 大同。

Their main shop at Sago Street is still there when I last passed by a couple of months back behind the market~
Use google maps, search for 大中国 or Tai Chong Kok and it'll show its location.

the one above chinatown market is chinatown tai chong kok Hue Kee whereby they have other branches at alexandra and aljunied

theres another tai chong kok which is at sago street has branched in T3, taka basement etc

Today, I just ate a very interesting mooncake. Suppose to be a one egg yolk mooncake but inside was just empty space!!

As though the egg yolk just disappeared leaving an empty cavity behind.

the outlet above Chinatown market is the 山寨版

the authentic stall is the one at Sago Street, but its production factory is at Ubi which it sends to the Sago Street outlet to sell

I think they have a website. They are very commercialised now. Prices gone up a lot too

The original one is Tai Chong Kok.
