More currency or use card?

Hi gurus,

Is it better to change more foreign currency than use miles card overseas?

I am using UOB PRVI and thought of forsaking miles benefits and pay less forex? Just use cash?

Doea it really worth the milea.. Not spending a lot.. Max is around 800 SGD.. Going Australia..
