Looking at refinancing inview of the soaring rates.

Understand that there are fixed rate with eir around 2.5% for two year. Given this increasing sibor trend, is it advisable to go for that than floating rate with eir of 2.1%?

Another option im thinking to go for is pay off the lump sum by cpf which i have sufficient funds.

Which is the best option given my circumstance? For your advice

My, we have lots of jumpy borrowers at 2.X%!

It looks like as low as 2.35% two year fixed on a refinanced mortgage, SIBOR pegged.

Your Ordinary Account is earning 2.5% isn’t it? Why would you ever take 2.5% earning dollars to accelerate repayment on a mortgage if the mortgage still has a lower interest rate? Help me out here — when would that ever make sense?

It certainly appears so when I conducted an online search. That’s the 2 year fixed rate one lender is offering. The lowest 3 year fixed rate is a bit higher, so maybe that’s what you’re searching for/seeing.
