Most Competitive Programme offered by Local Universities

The most competitive degree programme must be Dentistry.

Reasons:
(i) Only offered by 1 University locally i.e. NUS
(ii) Need execellent results
(ii) Small intake of 54 students
(iv) Need to clear dexterity test and multi-mini interviews

I would imagine that the number of applicants would be many times more than the available places and I do not think they would need to look at the 2nd choice applicants.

Acceptance rate is the more important criteria compared to just taking number of students. Eg. (fictional numbers) 3000 students applying for 150 medicine, compared to 500 applying for 50 dentistry
