Motherboard and CPU recommendations

Looking to upgrade my b150m Bazooka to a new ATX motherboard with at least 2 pci-e slots and an m.2 connector. SLI compatibility would be a bonus, not a must. Onboard bluetooth/wifi would be nice too.

Also looking to replace my i5-6500 as it doesn't quite cut it for video editing. I don't do 3D, so it doesn't have to be that high end.

Budget is 1k. Thanks!

If you do a lot of video editing, look at the Ryzen 5/7 platforms. Get an x370 motherboard for SLI

If no sli can opt for b350 board which will do just fine. Cheaper n quite decent:

Most shops in Sim Lim have bundle pricing for CPU+MB. For some the bundle pricing may only apply if you get a whole system from them.

The B350 is an excellent chipset for AMD Ryzen (same pricing as a typical Intel H270 board, but overclockable for all Ryzen CPU). X370's only significant difference is official SLI/Xfire support
