Motherboard + CPU Bundle

Hi guys,

Want to get some recommendations on MB + CPU for video conversion, editing purposes. No gaming requirements.

Only require MB + CPU recommendations as will be reusing other parts.

Considerations are:
Will use DDR4 Rams
Will use M.2 SSD in the future
May want RAID functionality
LAN output must be a 1GB port

Have shortlisted 4970K, but unclear of MB requirements. Thanks!

so in order words u want a i7 4970k + a mobo with those specs? i would say nope u wont be able to get DDR4 ram. but u can get m.2 and 1 gbps lan for sure.

Well, please do advise if let's say we go for ddr3 ram for mobo. Can make some sort of compromises for parts.

I don't understand why would anyone wants a 4790K instead of 6700K when the price difference is like $15

Looking at benchmark 4790k performs better than 6700k in most scenarios hence why chose 4790k..
