Motherboard integrated graphics not detected

Hi forumers, for some reason my system couldn't detect the motherboard integrated graphic. On the device manager-> display adapters only my nvdia card is shown.

Motherboard model: Asus h87 pro

I am not sure whether the problem lies with the driver and I tried going to intel website to download the driver but under desktop win 7 there are too many selections. not sure which is the correct 1.

can any kind soul please advise?

But honestly speaking, why would you want both your Nvidia discrete graphics card and onboard graphics to be enabled at the same time?

Correct me if I'm wrong, in most cases, it's either discrete graphics or onboard graphics but never both. The only exception is those AMD Hybrid CrossFireX / Dual Graphics or Nvidia Hybrid SLI configuration when they can work together.

Would they clash with each other? If you're using discrete graphics, then make sure only Nvidia is enabled, and leave your onboard/integrated disabled/off.

oh sorry, didn't know it's supposed to be this way. Initially I thought there's something wrong with the system. Now that it is fine I won't need to do anything.

According to Myth - It is necessary disable an integrated graphics chipset, we may not even need to manually disable the integrated onboard graphics. Modern BIOS is smart enough to detect an installed dedicated discrete graphics card and automatically disable the integrated onboard one. This may explain why your integrated graphics disappeared on its own without you touching any setting or switch.

You can enable both when they are in Lucid Virtu MVP....
