Mrs bought me a brown strap I've always wanted from day 1...good quality, matt, slightly rustic look. The pics of the Moto cognac look like the smooth "shiny" kind like the black and stone gray. Should hang on to my original gray one to swap back one day

Why do people get screen protector ah? Wouldn't it be in the way of the already slightly underwhelming display? Heard Gorilla Glass is harder than titanium on the hardness scale, just curious. The hardness is just below strengthened steel file, so unless you buah your watch like doing D&T, I don't think there's going to be scratches.

That makes sense as well, seeing as there might be sand on the ground. Still, I find the probability of dropping a strapped on product (such as a watch) to be minimal. Of course, it's fine to use a screen protector if one brings his 360 to work, but I kind of see such watches as luxury products that are not meant for harsh environments. If the sand can scratch the screen, it can scratch the other parts...so...better be careful when using tech products. Personally, I prefer to use it without screen protectors, I like the shiny shiny screen

guys, my friend got 2nd handed moto 360 sold to his shop. went to his shop and see it. really love it. my main concern is what happen if i need the watch to be fix? is therr any service centre for this?

I don't think so, seeing as the product is not launched yet (in SG), there wouldn't be official servicing I guess? I'm in a dilemma as to whether I should wait for it to be launched, or skip this iteration entirely. That's the problem with first generation products, the companies often don't invest enough since they do not know if it will be a flop.

By the time Motorola launches the 360 and its services worldwide, we would be nearing the release of the next iteration, very similar to the Surface Pro situation in which Microsoft launched it in SG 4 months+ after the US launch. People start to get angry and impatient, in the end, they have to offer huge discount to clear off the inventory. If I remember correctly, that time Surface RT had a university discount programme, each unit cost $200+. SG being a small market also contributes to the late launch of products.

If you really like it and are able to afford it, I would say go for it. $300 is a good deal, it's even cheaper than direct conversion from USD. Since the seller is your friend, I assume he has to be reliable (unless he is Joven Chew lol). The life cycle of modern tech products are very short nowadays, everything gets outdated in a few month's time. As for the repairs...things don't break as easily these days, so the repair services would probably be available before yours break down. No warranty, at most pay for repairs lor.

Can someone confirm that android wear app is not compatible with some phones even though it may be kit Kat 4.4? ie. Xiaomi mi 4?

The android wear app is compatible with Xiaomi phones. I have a Mi 3 running MIUI 6, and I've used it with my Moto 360 for a month already.

As far as I know, there is currently no such setting to define the screen time. Perhaps Android Wear 2.0?
