Recent reports have revealed that the Motorola Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra are in the works for multiple markets. Leaked renders that emerged in February offered the first look at the Razr 60 Ultra. In recent weeks, the Ultra edition has also been spotted on platforms like the FCC, UAE’s TDRA, China’s 3C, HDR10+, and Geekbench. Some of these listings have revealed the key specs of the device.
While the standard Razr 60 has appeared on 3C certification, most of its specifications and design have remained a mystery—until now. This report brings you all the important information that you need to know about the Razr 60.
Motorola Razr 60 design, colour options
- The Motorola Razr 60 will be available in three shades: Pantone Gibraltar Sea, which has a nylon-inspired texture, Pantone Lightest Sky with an acetate finish, and Spring Bud.
- Shown above is a 360-degree view of all three colour variants, which suggests that there are not many major changes in the design compared to last year’s Motorola Razr 50.
Motorola Razr 60 specifications
- In terms of the build, the Motorola Razr 60 will arrive with an IP48-rated chassis. To recall, its predecessor came with an IPX8 rating. Therefore, the “4” in the IP rating means that the Razr 60 will also have some level of dust protection.
- On the front, the Razr 60 features a Pantone-validated pOLED HDR10+ foldable display measuring 6.7 inches.
- This is a reduction in screen size compared to the Razr 50 and Razr 40, which came equipped with a larger 6.9-inch display. The older Razr 2022 also featured a 6.7-inch display. A new display-related feature onboard the Razr 60 is support for wet touch functionality.
- Under the hood, Razr 60 will feature the recently unveiled Dimensity 7400X chipset.
- It will arrive with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device will support RAM Boost, which is Motorola’s way of saying virtual RAM.
- The battery size will increase from the Razr 50’s 4,200mAh to 4,500mAh battery on the Razr 60. Like the previous generation, the new model will support 30W Turbo charging.
- For photography, the Razr 60 will feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Ultra Pixel primary sensor for better low-light performance and an ultra-wide lens with 4x more capture range than before. However, its exact megapixel count is not known yet. It will also be capable of capturing macro shots. On the front, it will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
- It will also offer access to the company’s Moto-AI suite of AI-driven features. For security, it will offer features like Moto Secure and a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
