Mouse recommendation

Hi

I hope that the experienced bros here can recommend a mouse fit for my needs

- Wired connection
- no excessive LED (best if none)
- can adjust multiple sensitivity
- good scroll wheel
- Good front and back buttons
- wont spoil in 6 months
- games include RPG and dota, no FPS

Used to have Razer Deathadder, nice build and comfort, only hate the rubber surface which will become sticky. Mouse was changed only because of the sticky stuff.

Replacecd with Logitech G302 (dota mouse). Everything was ok except left clicker gave up on me average life expectancy of 4-6 months. 2nd G302 same problem.

Hopefully budget is $50ish, but can be increased for superb long lasting mouse.

I would recommend the Logitech G502 instead. But for that you might need to up your budget a bit.

This. Double and triple seconded. I used a Razer Lachesis for like 4~5 years before this, and I can no longer go back to flat mouses for gaming after switching to this...

The raised LMB really gives you that edge in competitive gaming, while that thumb button, as well as the "snap lock" for the wheel to switch between the normal throttled scrolling and free scrolling are just damn useful. The customizable weight is a nice bonus.

There's a slight issue of the two small buttons at the side of the LMB not being recognized by default by some games' button mapping, but you can set those keys to specific keyboard keys through the logitech software to bypass that.

ts what kind of problems are your old mice facing? if it's the standard double clicking, opening it up and reseat the actuators will fix it.

Logitech 303, fits your needs and the LED can be switch off. I bought it for about $100 or slightly less than that.

It has been my daily mouse for the past 1 year and still going strong.

I also have this issue before but i spray some wd40 into the click switch and wait for it to dry, the mouse is back to normal. didnt open up the mouse, just spray directly between the gap

G402 or Zowie?

I think the G402 is right within your budget, but the Zowie is slightly out.

Ordered the G402 for a friend because his MX518 just died after 10+ years (actually its still working, just that the rubber is all sticky). The G402 will be a good replacement for him.

I just ordered the Zowie because I've always liked the shape of of the MS Intellimouse Explorer, and that's the closest I've found.

My G700s is still going strong for about 4 years now, the previous G700 had a failed middle click about 1 year into its life. Never had a left or right click fail though (except for the Razer Boomslang 2000, which was total trash).

Why not just RMA the G302 since it may still be within the warranty period?

Microsoft makes good hardware but their Sidewinder mouse is no longer in production otherwise you can try get it. I have the original Sidewinder using for more than 5 years already and still going strong.

dont get G402. I have 2 sets and both middle mouse spolit. If u do a search online for this problem, it is very prevalent .

Yes its double clicking, left click drag, everything left click. Same problem as before.

I will try my luck at disassembly but can enlighten what is "reseat the actuators"?
