Hey guys,
I'm making plans to change my current ring to matx. Want to save some space on the desk.

Trying to spend as little as possible from my current rig and need some recommendations

Needs:
Mainly photoshop
Slight gaming

If possible, I am just thinking of changing the cpu+mobo combo to a i5, and keep the rest.

- Recommend: i5+mobo (4ram slots, sata3, usb3)
- Keep: 4x4GB ram
- Keep: ATI 5850
- Keep: HDD
- Keep: Acbel i-Power 550w GOLD (Able to support?)
- Recommend: Casing (at least able to hold 4HDD)

Thanks in advance!

As cheap as possible is $271

Asrock b75m dgs + i5-3350p $271

If you want slightly newer mobo MSI b85m g43 + i5-4570 ~ $348

Crux of ur challenge is to find the right case for your space constraints and at the price you are willing to pay.

Once u got this, the rest of the specs is easier to come up with

I guess your best bet for casing is the Bitfenix prodigy m 4 x 3.5in.
i am using thermaltake a30i which holds only 2 x 3.5in and 2 x 2.5in.
