MP Raid in camp

Hey guys. I was wondering what's the consequences for having just 1 obscene picture on the phone which the mp caught and the phone is seal up.

I have a friend who kena caught with a photo in which was almost 6 months old in his whatsapp folder which is auto download automatically in the group chat. It's a picture of a dad sexually involved with a toddler which was found on twitter months back. He wasn't the one who download it cause in the group chat itself has more than 6 ppl in it and the original sender post in on the chat as to tell the shocking news about the picture that he found on the twittter. No other motive.

However my friend did know about it but he totally forgot that the picture was in his phone due to more than 5 months old and the picture found in his what'sapp folder which the mp found it.

Im trying to help him but idk what to console him cause he freaking out. Anyone out there knows what kind of charges that he will face cause it's not intentional in the first place and it wasn't his picture and wasn't him who download it.

Any ideas fellow people? Hope to hear some replies. Thanks.

That I'm not so sure cause right now the picture involves a "minor" and it's just that picture and he isn't the one who download it, started the whole thing nor spreading it. It's just so happen the picture is in the phone due to whatsapp.

I got a feeling nothing will happen to him if he can prove all that you have just said.

He extract the whatsapp chat log and it shows when and time of his friend send it and his friend even stated he got it from a twitter post but right now the post been taken down by twitter so the trail is cold. That's the only thing he has to prove.

Then hosei liao. How to explain its not his? Its like on TV where the guy is arrested with drugs in his car & he says its not mine & i dunno how it got there. Lol!

The pic may not be his but why did he not delete it when he saw it? Most important if his friends are such perverts i think he needs to find new friends.

As u said, grand father story. Have heard so many of them over the years.

If fail range will kena charge. If never salute occifer will kena DB. Fail IPPT cannot ORD. All bull sheet lor!

My friend last time is a NSF MP & his fellow MPs only salute to an Officer with the rank of BG & above as a respect & not a MUST.

If you see MINDEF have so many officers but how many are greet & even salute to these officers?

Base on old timer story of 'If never salute officer will be charge' then how many senior officers are going to be charge?

Yes, senior officers (MAJ & above)! Cause they did not salute to their senior ranking officers. You want prove? Just seat one condor at MINDEF & count for yourself how many cases are happening?

So don't expect a Junior Officer & WOSE to do the same when Senior Officer fail to uphold the standard of 'salute & greet an officer'.

these bull sh1t were deliberately spread by the superiors to "convince" their lazy subordinates to pass them... all for the sake for best unit competition.

this is not exactly bull sh1t. it is just being exaggerated. technically speaking not saluting to them can be seen as insubordination and not respecting your superiors and those two are chargeable offense. but of course no one is going to do that.
