MR Or No MR

If you have completed your 7HK + 3LK ICT this year you will MR (with cert and watch) on 1 Apr 2020.

If you did not complete your 7HK + 3LK ICT you will ROD (with only a letter telling you that you will not be liable for anymore NS activities) on 5 April 2020.

Okie okie. I only complete 3 HK. So i will non-liable only on my 40th bday. Thanks!

both are still liable depending on the severity and necessity. to be more precise, after ROD u no longer need your equipment, no longer need to notify for Overseas etc. only perhaps the manpower if they are able to get upon govt approval.

bascially all citizens can serve in the nation's defence still.

upon ROD , u return yr equipment already, how is it u are still liable to be called up ? stop talking nonsense . When u ROD at 40, 10 yr later at 50 they still call u up huh, through some special govt approval or procedure? dont be silly.

How does it work? If i reach 40 on 5th Apr 2020, do i MR on:
a) 1Apr 2020
b) 1Apr 2021
c) 5Apr 2020

as long u MR or ROD , it will only be official when past April SAF work year.

for example u MR or ROD in July 2020 (on yr 40th birthday), u are officially only confirmed april 2021.
