Ms office activation

Hi guys, i got 2 questions to ask regarding ms office installation and activation.

1) i seen a handful of youtube videos which claim that the legi way of getting the office for free. Some with step by step instruction. Are those really legi or scams? Bcos if its the latter, then i shall stop attempting.

2) so i tired one of the videos but when it came to the activation i encountered an error msg with the kms cannot be contacted. I read the description of the error and it pointed to mainly pc time and date not in sync.

Not sure if there was anybody who tried and encountered similar errors? Love to hear any tips and tricks on this. Thks.

Just to share and close off the thread. I rewatched 1 of the clips and tried the script provided for activation. It worked. A sense of satisfaction of getting something work after trying abt 2 days.
