So, you're thinking about that spanking new AMD Ryzen processor, but what about the board to pair it with?

In comes the MSI B450 Tomahawk. Available from various retailers for around $110usd or equivalent, it's not exactly on the lowest tier of boards, but it won't even get close to breaking the bank. But does it do anything different from other boards of this price point? An M.2 NVME slot, 6 fan headers, onboard RGB and connectors, BIOS FLASHBACK, USB 3.1 Gen2 Type A+C; just to name a few. A whole host of features similar to other motherboards.

Here's another point if you're still on the fence at this point. "Extended Heatsink Design" for superior CPU VRM cooling, allays all worries of thermal throttling. Big, chunky heatsinks that serve not only to cool, but to look cool. With all ryzen CPUs capable of overclocking, this board only makes it all the more attractive for price/performance.

I've been impressed with mine, I highly doubt you'd be disappointed, unless you're looking at some snazzy new x570 boards; but well that's a whole 'nother tier of motherboard goodness that we're not looking at here.
