Hmm just want to check with you guys. Do MSI laptop GE60-0NC 437 model with Bigfoot Killer network is it really worth the money? Have any of you tried before the bigfoot killer network card? If so please share your through. Thanks in advance.

From what I've heard, its not much of a difference if you have a crappy wifi. Just boosts your signal better(IIRC)

I only tried the lan bigfoot not sure bout the wireless 1. Yeah it did bring down my pings slightly vs my alienware on lan and you can control or limit the bandwidth of your torrent or other software you downloading while you gaming.

I'm using a GE60 with the Killer-N 1103 and the difference is quite noticeable when compared to my sister's Acer laptop with a stock wireless card.

Not sure about the 1102 though. But as ImDanz has mentioned you need a decent router to notice a difference in speed. For reference I'm using a Linksys E4200.

one of the laptops im looking at is msi ge60 438. do you guys feel its worth 2149 for gtx 660. also noyebookcheck.net gave it thumbs down for flimsy build glossy cover and too much heat. anyone got same prob?

I think 2.2k you can get gx60 with 7970m if you dun mind thicker a bit than GE60. I dunno if the GX60 comes with super raid if it does it would be a bonus.

Just go for GX60 the graphic card is way better than the gtx 660 and more worth the price i will go for that too bad i bought my msi ge 60 last time

GX60 do not have super raid.

unless it is possible to upgrade it to a newer processor without voiding warranty

but how about ge60 can give mini review?
i need to bring everday to school and msi seems light but how about gpu. i wanna be able to play latest game in 3 years time with 660 gpu

Ya the APU bottlenecks, so even the strong GPU may be under utilised in some games.
