Just received my new MSI monitor yesterday and I'm really liking it already. For the price (around 300SGD give or take depending on where you buy from) you get a 144hz curved display, solid build quality (quite impressed with the metal stand), and AMD freesync.
The color reproduction is also very good. Definitely not the best compared to other monitors but unless you're a photo editor, you definitely won't complain. Colors are vibrant without being washed out. The screen is rated at 115% sRGB. A good display but still nothing super impressive.
The 144hz refresh rate was definitely the thing I noticed first after booting up. Animations are way smoother and more pleasing coming from a 60hz monitor before. If you play a lot of games and your hardware can push the fps up to 144, you'll definitely be pleased by how smooth everything is.
The curve is noticeable but doesn't really stand out while I'm using it. Maybe it's just me. A cool feature to have but don't expect some type of 360 degree immersive experience.
Overall, this monitor is a real bang for the buck display from MSI. Considering other similar specced but flat monitors can be even more expensive, those looking for a new gaming monitor should definitely consider this.
