hi, check with you guy, my wind when opening up the lcd, the latch seem to be losse.(contract point between the lcd and the keyboard), not tight as compare to my other lap top. does you the same? or it is qc problem that i need to bring to agent to have it tighten?

Yeah, Corbell PMed me.

Anyway, about the keyboard protector, I find that the double-sided tape looks ugly under the protector.

You see tiny strips of black marks on your keypad. That's why I did not use it.

Regretted getting the extra accessories.

Hi, saw someone posted about the latch of the LCD (U100plus) being very loose as compared to other notebooks. Do you guys also experience the same thing? Is that normal?

I've had the Wind coming to 5 months now I think, but have never actually got into a situation where I absolutely had to use an external DVD writer for something that I need to do off the Wind. All the installation of OSes I did using thumbdrives.

That said, you can get one quite cheaply tho.

just called up corbell regarding the purchase of msi wind + but seems i can actually get it from the following retailers so i dont need to rush down to them to get it.

U100 has been phased out, U100 using the first gen N270 1.6GHz processor...

U100 Plus using the latest N280 1.66GHz processor.

That's all. Design is still the same, general specs still the same.

was going to buy msi wind + when i got down to sls but in the end bought eee 1000he...dont know why but it took me 5 mins to decide to get it but it took me a week to decide to get the wind...strange.well bell system is selling it at 699 with mouse and cover for everyone info.

imho IE7 seems 'slower', feels like there's a lag.

Hi guys,

does anyone have problems with their U100+ touchpad. I just got mine on sat & the touchpad has been acting very erractic. Suddenly the pointer will be jumping all over the place & will start selecting things on its own! Is my touchpad possessed?

imho IE7 seems 'slower', feels like there's a lag.

I think if die-die want IE, should consider IE8. Performance is better than IE7.
Otherwise, get Chrome, a better choice for smaller screen umpcs.
