shud be 6 cell lahz.. i see us price... linux version cheaper by 200 bucks,512mb ram,no bluetooth and 3 cell.. while the win xp price is around the same wad we paying with 6 cell... so shud be 6 cell.. if not,then maybe i wont buy.... lol

my pi test ,i got 3 mins 40 sec compared to this silverthorne 4mins 17.. but tat silverthorne underclocked at 792mhz??

i did my test on eeepc 701 at 900mhz.....

What is important is the bottom part that reads "Intel (R) Atom(TM) CPU N270"

Well, 2.5hrs battery life defeat the purpose of having an ultra mobile PC.

Perhaps have option of upgrade to 6 cell at additional cost?

Can chop the roberts in the pre order list. After they buy liao, hold a promo of the Wind at same price but with 6 cell battery.

at 1st u put 3hrs to 4hrs batt life for 3cell batt. now msi say its only 2.5hrs rated?
no real life batt tests for now yet, so i guess i will hold on to the spot until tests are conclusive.

if the test nor the offer is good, im sure there are ppl who will drop out. simply demand and supply eqn... dun ned to spite us out of it.

ur 'dun care' attitude seems to be the epitome of poor customer service, often observed in SLS..

Not much of an issue, most laptops that I've seen have Speedstep as well. In fact, this should help us to save some battery power .

Anyway I'll be updating the first post with more information now that MSI Wind samples are already available in other countries.
