Yea, but it's a 7" screen.

Don't forget the MSI Wind is 10" and using a conventional 2.5" HDD. Those 2 factors might equal or outweigh the power savings from using an Atom processor.

yeah.. agree... actually i think,if 2.5hrs on xp with wifi on,its pretty decent.. my eee last2 hrs only... if overclock to 900mhz,last 1hr 45mins..

so 2.5 hrs at 1.6ghz is definately still better and sounds attractive to me and maybe 6 cell will get abt 5hrs.. tats long enuf..

but of course,we still prefer 3-4 hrs.. lol

for my eee,my 4 cell is 4800 but dunno whether really 4800 anot,maybe its 4400 labelled 4800mah.. lol...

then the 8 cell i bought is 10400mah...

Lol it's wrong to assume larger numbers mean faster speeds... The best known example is the Eee PC's 900Mhz processor beating the 1.2Ghz C7-M used in the Cloudbook/EasyNote/HP 2133.

You don't have a choice, the Atom is the latest processor for UMPCs. Unless you don't intend to get a UMPC anymore.

got news tat atom eeepc coming out end of june in uk also. power.. every few months new products... eeepc users will feel screwed.....
