Windows 7 build 7000 works fine on MSI Wind. Installed it without a hitch from a USB stick. Only additional driver needed was the wireless driver + system control manager but not really necessary if you don't miss the onscreen icons.

For mine, the wireless was installed out of the box with Win7 had to manually instal it...

Last nite for the first time, i tried to OC 24% on my MSI Wind. BSOD in 15 mins. Is it the RAM problem as it cannot support OC to 24%? My 2GB RAM comes default with the set.

On the other hand, OC on 15% is stable so far.

is there a way to set the default LCD backlight to min......cos whenever i plug in ac adapter it will auto set to max.............i want it to be min at all time...even on battery or sw on ...

Hi bro,

In VISTA OS, the user can setup the LCD brightness use “VISTA Mobility Center”.
But in XP OS, there is no tool to change the brightness, please adjust the brightness use function key (Fn + F4/F5).
