sianz, i went to Funan this afternoon to try to test out MSI, I didnt get to see any in whole of Funan? When i asked some of the shops, I was instead introduced a MSI clone - Axioos Pico. The sale staff says its even better than MSI and price is cheaper. Everything is the same as MSI since MSI product this Pico for Axioo. And said MSI is not really good, i was like "confused"? if MSI is not really good, what make Pico better since he says everything is the same? pengzzzzzz

I left funan with disappointment, sigh

There's a separate Axioo thread. Do check it out.

Nope, no such stuff.

Anw, MS Works? Didn't know there're people who still actually use it.

My opinion is no.. it is not suited for CS2/3. Although you can load it and change the screen size to accomodate the install, it is not suited to run CS2/3. I have deinstalled CS2 from WIND and using it more for photo storage and simple stuff while on the go.

just called their office 5 minutes ago regarding the 6-cell battery. It will not be available in Comex.... But they will send an email or call the early adopters once the 6-cell battery arrive (at a discount price). For those who buy MSI wind during the comex, they are entitled to change to 6-cell battery

MSI giving both 3 cell and 6 cell battery in comex at $899
assuming the 6 cell battery cost $150.

which means they are selling the basic set for only $899-$150=$749 only.
also, they are giving free upgrade to 160gb hdd.

let's see the price of the 6 cell batteries.. hope there's a special price for the earlier adopters.. & it seems like a pretty gd price of 899 for both 3 & 6 cell batteries included.. & additional upgrade to 160gb..

So what happens to those of us who were waiting for 6 cells since june during the PC SHOW?

We put our names down and were offered $829 instead of $859. Not to mentioned the Top 20 list got it $799 i think.

Now we wait until necks long long and no word from Corbell after they launched $899 with 6 cell.

Corbell, you still have the list of customers who are waiting for the 6 cell battery? Or all your Wind stock gonna be SOLD OUT during COMEX 2008?

Is there a price for the Wind w/o the 6 cell???

you mean if buy at comex, can change to 6 cell battery at no cost?

Any idea when'll Corbell and MSI release its 6-cell battery offers for early adopters

This is frustrating!!! we being the "pioneer" batch of the WIND, having to endure the "wireless cut-off" when first launched, and now the wait for the 6-cell battery.. now it seems like the new customers would get the 6-cell first as a reward for their "patient" and what we, being the PIONEER.. NOTHING but WAITING!!

This is frustrating!!!
