same here, anyone having problems with wifi not auto starting when umpc is booted? mine have to start manually.

That is a setting in Windows. You can configure your wireless to automatically connect to a network when it is in range.

Leave Wifi enabled when you shut down? It should remain enabled the next time you start up. Or is there a BIOS option for this as well? If there is, check that it's enabled.

that's what i did. but i used the laptop without battery, maybe the status/mode wasn't "recorded" by the mainboard when no battery is used.

using without battery, i did not experience the date/time misaligning though.

Potter House is offering MSI wind at $888.00 with free 2gb ram and free extra 6cell battery.

You guys think its worth the price?

Sounds like a really good offer. Notice that the harddrive is 160GB too!

Those who got it at Comex got it at $935?? Now almost $50 cheaper.

Sheesh... seems like the trend is to wait as long as possible when it comes to buying Netbooks.. cos their prices drop so fast. With new models from Lenovo and Dell coming soon.. Netbook prices will be so much more competitive.

Good deal..

better then getting at Comex.. Comex still need to pay additional $36 for 2gb ram upgrade.

the HDD size also the same - 160GB.

Also 2 batts - one 3cells & one 6cells..
