Yes, it comes with 6 cell battery...
Now MSi is testing a 9 cell battery. We are waiting for the 9 cell battery sample too... Hopefully, it's not too much heavier than the 6 cell. =:p

I've been using my Wind since July 2008. So far so good with the ventilation.
Btw,, current Wind design is also the same as our old Wind last year. Cheers. :)

i mean 1000he? you would recom 1000he or wind plus?

still dun understand the different between 1000he and 1002 ha.

1000HE is the thicker and heavier one, plastic body @ 1.45kg. 8700mAH battery.

10002HA is the slim and sleek one, brushed aluminium for blue and argent grey @ 1.2kg. 4400mAH battery.

Technical specs for netbooks more or less identical.. See which one you prefer, design, after sales service support, battery life, bundle.. etc..

U100 Plus has got loads of accessories bundled together, making it a real bang for bucks.

Once the battery is full, the charging is automatically stopped. The battery indicator led is on when charging is in progress and off when charging is stopped.

You may do the following test to confirm if there are issue with the battery charging.

1. Use the netbook on battery for a while, let the battery drop to below 90%
2. Connect the power adapter and switch on the adapter.
3. Check if the battery led light is on. If yes, it is charging now.
4. On the task bar, double click on the power icon. It should open up a box showing the status of the battery.

will do so. i check last night, it is 95% . so will it because it is 95% of battery so it will not charge?

hi there,
I just got my msi wind, but it seems there's a problem with the wireless. It can't find any wireless networks. I checked the Device Manager, it seems fine. Any idea why?:s11:
