hi there,
I just got my msi wind, but it seems there's a problem with the wireless. It can't find any wireless networks. I checked the Device Manager, it seems fine. Any idea why?

Fn + F11, the WiFi is not turned on by default, got to turn it on.

Once the battery is full, the charging is automatically stopped. The battery indicator led is on when charging is in progress and off when charging is stopped.

You may do the following test to confirm if there are issue with the battery charging.

1. Use the netbook on battery for a while, let the battery drop to below 90%
2. Connect the power adapter and switch on the adapter.
3. Check if the battery led light is on. If yes, it is charging now.
4. On the task bar, double click on the power icon. It should open up a box showing the status of the battery.

thanks bro, after i letb the battery status reached 89% , i plug in the cable and the battery led is light up and teh power icon also show it is charging. hmmm. since it is brand new, i need to charge it for 8 hour?

my dad's msi wind power button is depressed down now and doesnt come back to the original position, if i bring it down to the service center in AMK, how long would it take to fix it?

Its up to individuals. Some ppl does it, while some dun. For myself, I didnt charge it for full 8 hours before the initial use.

I charge it till full then start to use liao....... then empty again charge again then the cycle continues......

sorry bro, got it at carefour at same price but i got a 5 % rebate , will get other accessories from you. however i am chargeing the wind now. but i notice that there is not light at on the net book. my electrical cable is working as when i on the net book, it highlighted it on electrical cable. could be it a battery problem? it seem not charging at all.

if your talking bout those laptop skins, some blogshops selling for around $20 for a set.

Hi,

You have to press the "Fn" key then F11 key.You have to toggle around the F11 key to on bluetooth only,wifi only,bluetooth+wifi & off bluetooth+wifi.

Yeah lor........ Right now only managed like 3 hours with wifi on brightness the minimum liao........
