Hi bros... i've got a question regarding the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack used in MSI Wind U100. Now currently i have got a few bluetooth services TosBtHSP.exe, TosBtHid.exe, TosA2dp.exe, TosBtMng.exe and TosBtSrv.exe.

I actually reinstalled the BT stack because i had a problem with BT on my wind and before reinstalling, i managed to maintain 22 running processes at idle. Now this number has ballooned to 30. I wish to whittle down this number to at least the mid 20+ if possible.

To be honest, i only use very basic Bluetooth services e.g. connecting my E71 through Nokia Suite via BT and doing simple file transfers e.g. images, songs etc.

My question is, "Is it possible to streamline the Toshiba BT Stack to only run BT services that i really need?"

what's the big difference between u100plus and u123??

MSI U123

The big difference is the outlook of the netbook. While the Wind U100 Plus was all curvy around the edges, the U123 goes for a more angular look that's stands out against the sea of contoured netbooks.:)

hello u123 or u100/plus users,

may I check if do u guys encounter such glitch?

if the power-on key is pressed too fast/immediately after the netbook is shutdown, the MSI splash screen will not appear and the screen is blank, despite the power indicator is on?

is it common with msi netbooks? thanks.

you do not need windows XP disc to extract/install the east asian files to ur msi wind, just go to
control panel > regional and language options > language tab > tick "install files for East Asian languages"

it might need you to restart PC after that... it did not prompt me to insert winxp CD, u can try to search for the files in the recovery drive i think OS_Install drive

cheers
