How to install Linux in MSI Wind U100+?

MSI Wind U100+ has 1 ram slot.

Max ram = 2gb

means... if they come with 1x1gb ram.. you are okay to add in another 1gb ram to make it max out at 2gb or have to remove the current 1gb so that i can add in a 2GB single module ram ?
