if malaysia wanted something else besides scoring political points it wouid allow singaporeans to stay beyond 30 says , own property more losely etc. its beneficial to their economy and can there will be limited inflation cuz they can always expand ie supply can catch up with demand

I went to the immigration to ask for only one year to rent a property and stay here. They flatly turned down my request even I am willing to pay for the visa. Only allowed for student and medical needs.

Mm2H is in place fyi, thats how u can stay permanently without going in and out, msian condo + mm2h is the proper system in place.

What you know about MM2H? Refer my post #207. MM2H started in 2002 and by 2018 it have approved 42k+. Singaporeans formed only 3.5% of the total.

That won't meet my purpose. I prefer staying a place for extended time and then move to another township from south to north and Thailand and Indo China and then China. When I grow weak and can't drive anymore, I will return to Sg, the best place in the world for old folks and elderlies.

In Msia, then you need the MM2H to stay longer term.

I don't think its wise to lock up capital in exchange for long term stay. No way for me.

Unless you are rich like @Firstclass1188 with 100M networth.

If rich better get landed property in or close to Jb town where land and house are huge and looks exclusive with no need for gate and guard as all your neighbors are like that, that are akin to those GCB in sg. But jb is not really a place to plonk your spare money, kl may be.
